1. Once you’ve signed up for a MaaS360 account (which you can do here: MaaS360 sign up), you should have received an email with a PIN to confirm your account. Use the PIN in this email to confirm your account and log in.
  2. Once you’ve logged in, you’ll be at the Quick Start setup page and have two setup options: Start without iOS and Setup iOS Now. Click the black “Setup iOS Now” button to begin.
  3. On the next page, you will be asked for your Apple iTunes ID. It is recommended to use an Apple ID unique to your company/organization, and not your personal Apple ID. If you do not have an Apple ID, you can create one here: create Apple ID. Once you’ve entered your Apple ID, click “Next” to continue.
  4. You should now be on the “Create Certificate Signing Request” page. Here you will download your Certificate Signing Request (CSR) required for setup by clicking the “download” link. You should have also received a copy of this file in your email. The file is necessary for your MaaS360 account to communicate with Apple. Once you’ve downloaded your CSR, proceed to the next step by clicking “Next”.
  5. Here you will be prompted to access Apple’s “Push Certificates Portal”. Click the “Open” link next to the orange arrow to open the Apple Push Certificates Portal login screen in a new tab. Once there, use your Apple ID to log in.
  6. Once you’ve logged in to the Apple Push Certificates Portal, click the blue “Create a Certificate” button which will take you to Apple’s Terms of Use. After reviewing the terms, check the box verifying you have read and agree to the terms and conditions, then click the blue “Accept” button.
  7. On the next page, upload the CSR file you downloaded from the MaaS360 portal or your email by clicking the white “Choose File” button and finding the file on your device. The file will most likely be in your device’s “Downloads” folder or wherever your default download location is set to (e.g: Desktop, Documents, etc.). You can also add a reminder note in the “Notes” field for future reference. Once you’ve selected your Certificate Signing Request file and added a note, click the blue “Upload” button to send your file to Apple and generate your unique Certificate.
  8. Next, you should see a page that includes a green check mark and “Confirmation”. On this page, select the blue “Download” button to download your unique Certificate. Once the Certificate is downloaded you’ll be done in the Apple Push Certificates Portal.
  9. Now navigate back to the MaaS360 portal and click “Next” to continue to the final setup step. On this page, upload your unique Certificate from Apple by clicking the “Browse” button, and selecting your Certificate. The certificate file should end in “.pem”. After uploading the unique Certificate file, create and confirm a Certificate Password, then click “Upload”
  10. That’s it! You can now begin managing iOS devices with your MaaS360 account.
