A good Wi-Fi connection is helpful to ensure your projects get synced quickly and correctly, but having a strong Wi-Fi signal does not mean you have a fast connection.

To check the upload and download speed of your Wi-Fi, begin by opening a web browser like Safari or Google Chrome on your device.

Once the browser has opened, tap in the search bar at the top and search for "speed test".

The top search result should be an Internet speed test provided by Google. To start the test, simply tap the blue Run Speed Test button included in bottom-right of the search result and the test will begin.

As the test runs, you'll see your results in real time as the tool tests your connection's upload and download speed.

Once the test is over, your final results will be displayed in Megabits per second (Mbps). The key result you'll want to check is upload speed on the right.

While a minimum upload speed of 4 Mbps is required for sync to work, we recommend having at least 10 Mbps and above for syncing to give your project the best chance of syncing properly.

That's it! If you need help finding your Wi-Fi connection speed or running a speed test, don't hesitate to reach out to us by clicking on the chat bubble at the bottom right-hand corner of this page.
